She enjoyed endless phone conversations, shopping, writing, music, and collecting stuff. Delthia was a gallant fighter and fought a long battle with mental illness and throat cancer. A host of other family and friends.

Words are inadequate to express our sincerest gratitude for all those who gave medical care to our baby sister Delthia. We deeply appreciate the staff at Monarch in Lumberton, North Carolina; Gibson Cancer Center in Lumberton, North Carolina. Those who loved her dearly at Woodland's Nursing and Rehabilition Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
