Mr. David Strickland age 53 of Lumberton, North Carolina was born on July 19, 1969, to Mr. Alex Stickland and the late Mrs. Jessie Mae Roller Strickland in Robeson County. He departed this life into eternity on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at UNC Health Southeastern Medical Center. He is preceded in death by his mother Mrs. Jessie Mae Roller-Strickland, his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Mary Ronie Strickland, one niece, Destiny Nevaeh Oxendine, one brother-in-law, Mr. Ronnie Howard Hamby.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Pattie Strickland, father, Mr, Alex Strickland of Maxton, North Carolina; three brothers, Mr. Edward Strickland, Mr. Alexander Strickland  (Vanessia) both of Maxton, North Carolina; Mr. Lloyd Strickland (Kathryn) of Currie, North Carolina; two sisters, Mrs. Lisa Hamby (Kelly) of Maxton, North Carolina; Mrs. Ann Margaret Oxendine (Louis) of Rowland, North Carolina; four nephews, Patrick, Ron, Daniel, Peyton, two nieces,Jessica and Sierra, and a host of other relatives and friends
