June Hill and Georgia Jones Hill welcomed David into the world on November 29, 1949, in Trinity, North Carolina. On November 14, 2024, David took the master's call. Two sisters, Nancy and Brenda Hill, and one brother, Saunders JC Hill, precede him in death.
David went to Fairview Elementary and Griffin Jr. High School in the High Point School system. David was a devoted worker at Value City Furniture Warehouse.
leaving to cherish his memory are the following relatives: three daughters, Tiffany Hill Graham (Larry) of Maxton NC, Tonya Sowell of Columbus, Ohio, and Nataisha Sowell of Columbus, Ohio, two brothers Reverend Ralph Goode (Carolyn) of High Point, NC and Donnie Lipsey (Jackie) of Detroit, MI; nine sisters, Minister Linda Clark (Henrietta) of Winston Salem, NC, Shirley Lipsey, Mona Bishop, Sherry Berry, Renelda Woods, Sena Hill, Sheena Lykes (Andree), and Sonya Dixon (Reverend Mike) all of Columbus, OH, and Sharon Day (Reverend Roy) of Richmond, VA; four grandsons, Nigel, Jerquan, Jaylen and Nasir all of Maxton, NC, four granddaughters, Kyesha & Meyah of Columbus, Ohio, Mirachol and Jade of Maxton, NC, four great granddaughters; Saaj, Bayli, Jalynn, Trinity all of Maxton, NC, one aunt, Mrs Odessa Hayes of Trinity, NC, a special friend, Sharon Giles of Columbus Ohio, along with a host of other caring relatives and friends.
