Mr. Daughtry (Jerry) Bell Jr age 74 of Maxton, North Carolina was born on February 07,1951 to the late Mr.Daughtry Bell and late Mrs. Ethel Chavis Bell in Robeson County. He departed this life into eternity at his home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by one son, Daughtry Bell, three brothers, Raeford Bell, Lee Junior Bell and Paul Bell, two grandsons, Cashley Scott and Randy Locklear.
Mr. Jerry was a loving husband, father, brother, and he was a Papa to his children, grandchildren and the community. He worked many years as a mechanic. He was a hard worker who enjoyed working to provide for his family. Jerry also enjoyed gardening, tending to animals, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Mrs. Rebecca Bell of the home, his children Jerry Bell, Sr., (Ariel) of Clarkton, North Carolina; Terry Bell of Maxton, North Carolina; Kelly Bell (Cassandra) of Rowland, North Carolina; Anita Locklear, Edward Locklear, Albert Locklear (Angie) all of Maxton, North Carolina; Connie Katekovich (Daniel) of Kernersville, North Carolina; two brothers, Tommy Bell (Rosemary) of Asheville, North Carolina; Edward Pete Bell of Greensboro, North Carolina; five sisters, Faye Bell, Galelene Cummings, Dorothy Chavis all of Maxton, North Carolina; Jeanette Faulk of Greensboro, North Carolina; Mary Francis Brayboy (Harold) of Pembroke, North Carolina, fifteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and one soon to be great-great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
