Darrell Glen Chavis

Mr. Darrell Glen Chavis age 68 of Maxton, North Carolina was born on August 13, 1957, to the late Arvin Chavis and the late Lois Lucille Loyd Chavis in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on February 16, 2026, at UNC Health Southeastern, Lumberton, North Carolina. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Ashley King, a sister, Sandra Locklear, a niece, Nicoya Locklear.

Mr. Darrell leaves to cherish his memories his wife: Jackie Chavis, three children: Bryan King, Nicoya Chavis and Heather Chavis, one sister: Diana Bumgardner, four grandchildren: Timmothy Schmidt, Nyia Schmidt, Ashley King, Tylan Schmidt, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
