Mrs. Darleen Sandra Myers age 69 of Lumberton, North Carolina was born on April 20, 1955, to the late Floyd Mills and the late Anna Stotler Mills in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life on March 3, 2025, at UNC Health Southeastern, Lumberton, North Carolina. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings Delois Cunningham, Evelyn Mathena, Doug Mills, Frederick Mills, Richard Mills, and a grandson Stephan Ruppel.

Mrs. Darleen leaves to cherish her memories her husband: Thomas "Tom" Myers of the home, one son: Edell Oxendine Jr. of Baltimore, Maryland, two daughters: Wanda Locklear, Dawn Minor (Brandon) all of Lumberton, North Carolina, two sisters: Christine "Debbie" Tolodziecki of Baltimore, Maryland, Patricia Mills of Lumberton, North Carolina, special friends: Sherry Hitchens, Flora Minor, Joyce and Paula, five grandchildren: Austin Locklear, Joshua Ruppel (Takarsha), Gabrella Oxendine, Lillan Guerrero, Damion Ballard, five great grandchildren, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
