Danford Bullard

Danford Bullard age 70 of Shannon, North Carolina was born on November 20, 1953, to the late Steven Bullard and the late Whyoner Locklear in Robeson County, North Carolina. He departed this life on November 6, 2024. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sumpter Bullard and Odessa Bullard, son, Stephen Bullard, brothers, Willie Locklear, Randell Bullard, Dwayne Bullard, sister, Anglena Bullard.

Danford was a beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother. Danford's life was one of hard work, love, and simple joys. For over fifty years, Danford was a skilled sheetrock hanger, dedicating his life to a craft he loved. His expertise and commitment were felt by all who had the privilege of working with him. His hands which built and created, will be remembered as a symbol of his dedication to providing for his family and friends. Outside of work, Danford had a passion for the outdoors. He found peace camping in the mountains and fishing by the quite lakes. He also enjoyed relaxing with a good classic Western movie, often sharing his favorite films with family. His love for nature, his family, and the simple things in life made him a joy to be around. Danford's family will miss his wisdom, humor, and loving presence.

Danford leaves to cherish his memories one stepson: Mike Locklear of Maxton, North Carolina, three daughters: Toni Bullard of Red Springs, North Carolina, Latoria Fulmer of Maxton, North Carolina, Nichcole Bryant (Jonathan) of Maxton, North Carolina; three brothers: Ronald Bullard (Janice) of Maxton, North Carolina, Harry Dean Bullard, James Bullard both Shannon, North Carolina, two sisters: Sherlene Locklear (Bracey) of Maxton, North Carolina, Brenda Lowery (David) of Red Springs, North Carolina, four grandchildren: Gavin Bullard, Megan Locklear, Tyler Bullard, Leanna Locklear, seven great grandchildren: Ni'Andon McMillan, Deon Buie, Deontay Buie, Zi'Andon McMillan, Leo Shobowale, Andrew Lambert, Kaliyah Locklear, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
