Mr. Curtis Howard Locklear, age 59, of 195 Payman Drive, Red Springs, North Carolina, was born on July 20, 1957 to the late Curtis Locklear and the late Virginia Simmons Locklear.  He departed this life on April 7, 2017 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina.  He was preceded in death by one sister, Faye Locklear.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at 7:00 pm Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Heritage Funeral Home, Hardin's Chapel, Red Springs, North Carolina.  Rev. Patrick Locklear and Rev. Jerry Groves Officiating.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Victoria Locklear; three stepdaughters, Melissa Roberts, of Concord, North Carolina; Kimberly Fields and Tonya Lowery, both of Red Springs, North Carolina; two brothers, Norman Simmons, of Fayetteville, North Carolina; and Dennis Locklear, of Red Springs, North Carolina; one stepbrother, Ernie Maynor, of Red Springs, North Carolina; four step-grandchildren, one niece,  Amanda Locklear, of Maxton, North Carolina; five nephews, Ricky, Terry and Dennis, all of Fayetteville, North Carolina; Chris, of Raleigh, North Carolina and Dennis, of Aberdeen, North Carolina and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 from 6:00 pm-7:00 pm at Heritage Funeral Home, Red Springs, North Carolina.
