Raymond Cummings was born in Laurinburg, N.C., on January 24, 1958, to Donald and Annie Pearl Cummings, and departed life on August 7, 2020.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Betsy Cummings; his children, Raymond Foy (Jennifer), Robert Autrey (Tiffany), Braxton Michael, Erica Marie, and Aryssa Lorn; sisters, Barbara (Johnny), Brenda, Phyllis, Louise, Sally (Edward), Amelia (Vernon), Eunice, Sheryl Diane (Jeff), Donna Marie (Justin), Sheila Marie, Connie Jean; brothers, Randall (Carol), William Wright, William Aaron, Carlton, Michael (Quae), and Robert (Halley); grandchildren, Raymond Lee, Cody Nathaniel, Zacharia Hayden, Kaylan Brielle, Kanaan Autrey, Kensley Brigitte, and Konnor Robert.

Raymond is preceded in death by his father, Donald Cummings; mother, Annie Pearl Cummings; brothers, Jerry, Timothy, Henderson, and Ronald; and sister, Carolyn.

His legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of all who knew him. The family thanks friends and the community for your continued support and prayers during this difficult time.

On Thursday, August 13, 2020, at Heritage Funeral Home,  there will be a public visitation from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., followed by family receiving friends from 5:00 p.m.. to 6:30 p.m. Graveside service will held on Friday at 5:30 p.m. at Lumbee Memorial Gardens in Lumberton, North Carolina.
