Mr. Cody Lee Jones age 28 of Red Springs, North Carolina was born on Oct 18, 1991 to the late Mr. Jimmy Ransom and Mrs. Mary Ann Ransom Oxendine. He entered into eternity on Friday May 22, 2020 in Hoke County. He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Ranson, paternal grandparents, Charlie Ransom and Ethel Locklear Ransom, maternal grandparents, Mary Huggins and Wilma Locklear.
Cody leaves to cherish his memories: his two sons,Dacoma Lee Jones and Jacodah Lee Jones, one stepson, Jalen Carter, his mother Mary Ann Oxendine, stepfather John Oxendine of the home. four sisters: Roxanne Jones and Kimberly Chavis of Raeford, North Carolina; Alicia Chavis of Rowland, North Carolina; and Kianna Jones Strickland (Cody) of Maxton, North Carolina; three brothers, Mickey Locklear of Rennert, North Carolina; Jonathan Jones and Elton Lee Jones of the home; stepbrother: Jon Dwayne Oxendine of Lumberton, North Carolina; a special cousin Isaac Ransom of Hoke County; special friends: Beth Clark, Sissy Locklear, special cousin,nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
