Christopher Lynn Scott

Christopher Lynn Scott (Locklear) “Boulou” of Lumberton, North Carolina was born on November 25, 1969 and completed his journey here on earth March 3, 2023. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Jethro and Ella Locklear; maternal grandparents Danny and Gretel Mae Scott; one niece Alani Nicole Locklear; and his father Bobby Locklear.

Christopher was a hardworking man and loved the outdoors.  He would get up early many days and work long hours in a job that many of us could not do.  Hanging sheetrock was his profession and always declared that he could do it with his eyes closed. Fishing was his hobby and he shared many stories about how he would “Slay Them” when he went fishing with his buddies.  Having a fishing pole in his hand was part of his attire and the rivers was his calming place.

He leaves to cherish his memories with his Wife; April Dawn Scott of the home; two children: Alisha Marie Scott (Jordan Lowry) of Raeford, NC and Christopher Lynn Scott, Jr. (Destine Locklear) of Maxton, NC. His Mother; Dora Locklear of Red Springs, NC; one brother Bobby Locklear, Jr., (Wanda Locklear) of Red Springs, NC; two sisters: Lavonda McKenzie (Damon McKenzie) of Sacramento CA; Lakeisha Locklear (Joshua Locklear) of Raeford, NC; Six grandchildren: Erial Lowry, Arial Lowry, Danielle Lowry, Dannie Lowry, Journii Scott, Josielynn Scott and a host of friends and relatives.
