Mr. Charlie Ray Jones, age 59 of Red Springs, North Carolina was born on August 29, 1960 to the late Mr. Thomas Jones and the late Mrs. Annie Eliza Locklear Jones. He departed this life on Friday, January 31, 2020 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy Jones and Frank Jones.
Charlie proudly served his country in the United States Army National Guard.
He leaves to cherish his memories: two daughters, Falicia Locklear (Kale) of Maxton, North Carolina and Maude Marie Jones of Red Springs, North Carolina; one son, Charlie Ray Jones Jr of Wilmington, North Carolina; three sisters, Marie Clark and Joyce McMillian of Shannon, North Carolina, Dorothy Lowery of Red Springs, North Carolina; one brother, Tommy Jones of Lumber Bridge, North Carolina; four grandchildren: Elijah Locklear, Desirae Locklear, Aaliyah Locklear and Jazlynn Jones. Mother of his children, Shirley Clark, his dearest friend Vanessa Locklear and a host of other family and friends.
