Carmable Revels

Ms. Carmable Revels age 100 of Pembroke, North Carolina was born on December 24, 1925, to the late Mr. Henderson Oxendine and late Mrs. Mary Jane Chavis in Robeson County. She departed this life on Friday January 02, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her sister, Mrytle Griffin, two brothers, Bo Oxendine and Furman Williams Jr.

Ms. Carmable was a woman of faith, grace, and unwavering love. She served the Lord for 78 years and was a reflection of God's love. A devoted mother, grandmother, and servant of God, she poured herself into her family and community. Her life was a reflection of Christ's love, and her memory will forever remain a blessing to all who knew her. Ms. Carmable operated a daycare out of her home and made an impact on the lives of many children.

She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Joyce (Emery) of Pembroke, North Carolina; Carrie (Delton) of Maxton, North Carolina; Barbara (David), Barbara Driver all of Pembroke, North Carolina; God daughter Melissa Walker of Maxton, North Carolina; ten grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, two nephews, William and James Ray Griffin of Lumberton, North Carolina; special caregivers, Doreen Jones, Kaitlynn Clark, Carbell Locklear and a host of other relatives and friends.
