Mrs. Carlean Chavis Wallace age 79 of Maxton, North Carolina was born on 0ctober 23, 1944 to the late Mr. Benjamin Chavis and late Mrs. Carlie Jacobs Chavis in Robeson County. She entered into her eternal home on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg, North Carolina. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her son, Bobby Wallace, four brothers, James Earl Chavis, Riley Ray Chavis, Thurman Chavis, Drake Chavis, one sister, Eloise Bullard
She leaves to cherish her memories, one son, David Wayne Wallace (Jennifer) of Maxton, North Carolina; three daughters, Debra Oxendine (Chris), Becky C. Blue (David), Vonda W. Young (Vincent) all of Maxton, North Carolina; one brother, Eric Chavis (Deborah) of Maxton, North Carolina; four sisters, Annie Ree Locklear (Hubert), Angie Chavis, Annie Lane Chavis all of Maxton, North Carolina; Claudine Chavis of Hope Mills, North Carolina; special friend, James Locklear, Bonus Children, Joyce Revels (Michael) of Maxton, North Carolina; James Wayne Locklear of Pembroke, North Carolina; Christopher Locklear (Jennifer) of Red Springs, North Carolina; Cherry Locklear (Robbie) of Raeford, North Carolina; Melissa Goldman (Rodney) of Raeford, North Carolina; eight grandchildren, Christy, Rebecca, Christopher, James, Carla, Dakota, Takota, Amya, seven great-grandchildren, Addyson, Braylon, Jayveon, Bishop, Khole, Hakan, Jacory, cherished friend, Jamie Barfield, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
