Mr. Carl Wayne Locklear age 74 of Maxton, North Carolina was born on September 14, 1944 to the late Mr. Carlie Locklear and the late Mrs. Mary Jane Barton Locklear in Robeson County, North Carolina. He departed this life on February 26, 2019 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, Fayetteville, North Carolina. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers Mr. Gervis Locklear, Mr. Edward Locklear,  Mr. Edsel Locklear, and Rev. Montana Locklear, one sister Mrs. Ethel Miller.

Mr. Carl leaves to cherish his memories two sons Paul Wayne Locklear, and Eric Locklear, four daughters Charlotte Locklear, Rose Marie Locklear, Angelique Locklear and Mattie Jo Hunt, one brother Claude W. Locklear, three sisters Carol Locklear, Gertha Burnette, and Cora Oxendine, nine grandchildren, one great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
