Mrs. Brenda Joyce Jacobs Locklear age 72 of Red Springs, North Carolina was born on May 07, 1953, to the late Mr. David Lambert and Pauline Jacobs in Robeson County. She departed this life into eternity on Monday, July 28, 2025, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, North Carolina. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her son, Derick Locklear, sister, Gail Jacobs, brother, Willie Jacobs.

She leaves to cherish her memories, four sons, Eric Locklear and wife Sasha Locklear of St. Paul's, North Carolina; Rick Jacobs and wife Amanda of Lumberton, North Carolina; Chris Jacobs of Red Springs, North Carolina; Ray Jacobs of Lumberton, North Carolina; one daughter, Erica Marie Locklear of Hope Mills, North Carolina; one brother, William Jacobs of Red Springs, North Carolina; one sister, Dale McDowell of Parkton, North Carolina; special friend, Jerry Owens, four grandchildren, Erik Jr. Locklear, Quentin Locklear, Jayden Jacobs, Kayden Jacobs, great-granddaughter, Payton Locklear, special nieces, Marcie Wynn and Brenda Lee Felton and a host of other friends and family.
