Brenda McKellan Clark was born in Lumberton NC on June 22, 1954 to the late Janie Mae Shaw and the late James “Stoney” McKellan. She gained her wings to her eternal home on Monday, September 14, 2020 at Duke University Medical Center when Jesus decided Congestive Heart Failure had to end. She was preceded in death by her brother, Nathan Buie, Jr. and her grandson, JaDale Floyd, her grandmother, Rosa Lee Shaw, great grandmother, Amie Shaw, cousin, Nelson Randolph, her uncles, Wilson “Hootie’ Shaw and Fred Randolph and her great aunt, who reared her as her own, Mary Catherine Randolph.
She was a proud graduate of Red Springs High School Class of 1972.
She leaves to carry on her Legacy of Love: her children whom she loved dearly; Terrasine (Antonio) Gardner, Travis (Crystal) McNeill, Dewayne (Melissa) McNeill, Patrick Graham, Ebony (Haze) Sibanda, Elliott Graham, Brandon Clark, Jimmy Clark, Jimisha Clark and Joshua Clark.
Her grandchildren who had her heart; Brenicia, Jordan, Trevon, Tristian, Takiyah, Taleyah, Aliyana, Dwayne II, Damarion, Sincere, Sinia, Daquan, Da’Ontre, Heaven, Elaiah, Joshua, Monte, Kailey, El’Ori, Kyrie, Breeze, Shanti, Tyasia, Brandon Jr, Benjamin, Jeremiah, Josiah, Saniyah, Zi’asia, Jadaya, Daron, Javon, Chace, and one great grandchild Jake Alexander.
To cherish precious memories a special aunt, Ella McRae; a brother, Michael Love; sister, Myra Miller-Stanley, special cousins, Mazie Shaw Gibson, Henry Gibson, Tracie Culbreth, Sandra Shaw, and Angela Shaw, A lifelong friend, Tomasine McAllister, special friend, Barbara Johnson and a very special friend, Robert Mitchell and a host of other adopted children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends that are too many to name.
