Bertha " Rosalee " (Locklear) Hardin

Mrs. Bertha “Rosalee” Locklear Hardin was born on May 17, 1945 to her parents, the late Zeb Locklear and the late Beulah Barton Locklear in Robeson County, North Carolina.

 Rosalee transitioned from this earthly life to eternal rest with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Reatha Mae (Bookie) Locklear, Dileatha (Mamie) Locklear, five brothers, Glenn Locklear, Charles Locklear, Josh Locklear, Bobby Locklear and Delton Locklear.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband of 55 years, William Dean Hardin (Bill), of the home, five children, Amy (Christopher) Jones,   of Red Springs, North Carolina; Billy Ray (Dawn) Hardin, of Red Springs, North Carolina; Nelson (Kathy) Hardin, of Lumberton, North Carolina; Sandra (Harlan) Hunt, of Red Springs, North Carolina and Craig Hardin, of Red Springs, North Carolina; nine grandchildren, Joshua Seth (Candace) Jones, Shane Christopher (Joyce) Jones, Alex Hardin, Brittany Hardin, Meagan Hardin, Ariel (Jeremy) Locklear, Brad Hardin, Catelyn Hardin and Shania Hardin, nine great grandchildren, Shane Christopher, Jr. (CJ),  Joshua A. Jones (AJ), Malexea, Brayson, Julianna, Layton, Kali, Stephen and Kennedi; one sister, Brenda J. (Mitchell)Lowery, of Red Springs, North Carolina;  two brothers, James Howard (Lula) Locklear, of Red Springs, North Carolina; and Zeb Jr. Locklear, of Pembroke, North Carolina; sister-in-law, Betty H. Prather, of Red Springs, North Carolina; brother-in-law, Harry Hardin, of Red Springs, North Carolina; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
