Bertha Mae Brooks

Ms. Bertha Mae Brooks age 63 of Maxton, North Carolina was born on April 30, 1961, to the late Gerald Austin Brooks and the late Clara Mae Jacobs Brooks in Robeson County, North Carolina. She departed this life on January 31, 2025, at her residence. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, James C. Brooks, a sister, Toni Brooks, a grandson, Cayden Locklear.

Ms. Bertha leaves to cherish her memories two sons: Ryan Brooks and Travis Dean Locklear, one brother: Jerry Brooks, one sister: Tabitha Brooks, a special brother: James Locklear, a special friend: Herbert Brayboy, three grandchildren, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
