Ardell Lowry

Mr. Ardell Lowry age 73 of Pembroke, North Carolina was born on January 26, 1952, to the late Mr. Bobby Dean Jacobs and the late Mrs. Zelma Lowry in Robeson County, North Carolina. He departed this life into eternity on February 27, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Odell Lowry.

Ardell was nothing short of extraordinary. His kindness, love, gentleness, and patience touched the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. As a devoted husband, a caring father, a loyal friend, and the world's greatest grandpa, he exemplified what it meant to live with compassion and purpose. He took immense pride in his role within the church, whether it was caring for the graveyard, cooking alongside the women in the kitchen, or lending a hand during church events. His selflessness and dedication to serving others were evident in everything he did.

Some of Ardell's happiest moments were spent surrounded by family- whether it was a peaceful day at the beach, fishing trips, riding his beloved golf cart, and attending car and motorcycles shows. These simple joys brought him endless happiness, as did the love he so freely shared with those closest to him.

Ardell's relationship with God was unwavering, and his faith was constant, guiding light throughout his life. He lived with deep sense of purpose, grounded in his devotion to his faith and his example continues to inspire all who knew him.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Glenda Lowry of the home, his children Adam Hunt of Pembroke, North Carolina; Eve Brewer (David Brewer) of Red Springs, North Carolina; Tawanna Lowry of Pembroke, North Carolina; Steven Adam Locklear of Pembroke, North Carolina; Carla Kay Bullard of Red Springs, North Carolina; one sister, Lou Lou Raby of Shannon, North Carolina; ten grandchildren: Donovan Locklear, Keonna Hunt, Harley Hunt, Shawanka Hunt, Shacoria Hunt, Courtney Carter, Kira Brewer, Hailey Brewer, Jayla Locklear, Travis Wayne Locklear. nine great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
