Mr. Andrew Vernon Locklear Sr age 68 of Rowland, North Carolina was born on May 21, 1956, to the late Mr. Russell Locklear and late Mrs. Lizzie Locklear in Robeson County. He departed this life into eternity on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, North Carolina. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Connie Roberta Locklear, one son, Andrew Vernon Locklear Jr., three brothers, Larry Locklear, Randolph Locklear, Johnny Locklear, one sister, Joann Locklear.

He leaves to cherish his memories, two sons, Jerome Locklear (Heather) of Rush, Kentucky; Phillip Locklear of Rowland, North Carolina; eight grandchildren, Braydon Andrew Locklear, Kaitlyn Marie Locklear, Jordan Locklear, Phillip Jr Locklear, William Lakota Locklear, Rylen Jeremiah Locklear, Clifton Drew Locklear, Roman Gage Locklear, one brother, Cranston Locklear, two sisters, Lois Locklear and Barbara Locklear, nephews, Michael Ray Locklear, Billy Ray Locklear, Johnny Kinlaw Locklear Jr, Bryan Keith Locklear, nieces, India Mae Locklear, Wanda Gail Rocha, Bridgett Locklear and a host of other family and friends.
