Adam Caleb Chavis

Mr. Adam Caleb Chavis age 21 of Lumberton, North Carolina was born on July 23, 1998 to Mr. Earnest Chavis and Mrs. Betty Locklear Chavis in Robeson County. He departed this life on Sunday, April 12, 2020 at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Earl Chavis, Clifford and Colleen C. Hammonds, maternal grandparents, Aubrey Locklear and Lillian Doris Locklear.

Adam was enrolled at Robeson Community College to study in Welding. He was a lovable son, brother, nephew, and a friend to many.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother Betty Locklear Chavis,  stepfather, Dave Odom both of Lumberton, North Carolina; father Earnest Chavis of Parkton, North Carolina; one brother, Justin Lee Chavis of Lumberton, North Carolina; four sisters, Danielle Woods, Brandy Locklear, Samantha Chavis, and Porshia Steen all of Lumberton, North Carolina; stepsister, Alexandra Odom of Lumberton, North Carolina; Aunt, Kimberly C. Clark, A special Aunt Ernestine Locklear and uncle John, uncle Jimmy Dean Locklear and Rita, eleven nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
