Mr. Wilton Brooks age 87 of Laurinburg, North Carolina was born on July 18, 1934  to the late Mr. Raymond Brooks and the late Mrs. Betsy Roller Brooks in Robeson County. He departed this life to eternal rest on October 22, 2021, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Brandon Brooks, great-grandson, Oliver Sebastin Bell, and son-in-law, William Oxendine.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Mrs. Betty Ann Locklear Brooks of the home, four sons, William Bennett (Billy) Brooks of Raeford, North Carolina; David Brooks (Delores) of West End, North Carolina; Charles Raymond Brooks (April) of Laurinburg, North Carolina; Braderick Eddie Brooks (Candice) of Lumberton, North Carolina; five daughters, Sherry Oxendine of Wagram, North Carolina; Frances Nikol (Jerry) of Linthicum Maryland; Bessie Lee (Beth) Brooks of Raeford, North Carolina; Mary Margaret Pizzino (Steven) of Ludowici, Georgia and Debra Brooks Grant (William) of Aberdeen, North Carolina; twenty five grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, a host of all the children we claimed as our own and a host of other relatives and friends.
