Mrs. Willie (Annie) Ruth Sweat age 77 of Maxton, North Carolina was born on August 28, 1943, to the late Willie (Red) and Letha Mae Dial in Scotland County, North Carolina. She entered her heavenly home on Wednesday, April 07, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of twenty seven years Ardell Sweat, one brother Harold Dial, one sister Betty Hunt.

Mrs. Willie (Annie) is survived by six children: Glen (Tina) Sweat, Sandra (Delton) Jacobs, Garrett (Beverly) Sweat, Judy (Mardie) Revels of the home, Jeffery (Janet) Sweat all of Maxton, North Carolina, Sharon (Chris) Smith of Shannon, North Carolina: three sisters: Effie Quick and Patsy Brayboy of Laurinburg, North Carolina; Faye Jones of Pembroke, North Carolina; two brothers: Willie Dial of Laurinburg, North Carolina, Tommy Dial of Gibson, North Carolina; seventeen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, one adopted granddaughter Michelle (Ryan) Scott of Maxton, North Carolina along with a host of other relatives and friends. Special thanks to her caregiver Duncan McMillian and hospice nurse Tammy Jones.
