Ms. Willie Mae King age 82 of Pennsylvania, formerly of Wakulla, North Carolina was born on April 11, 1939, to the late Mr.Willie Lee McLean and the late Mrs.Bernice Williams in Robeson County, North Carolina. She departed this life into eternity on Monday, August 16, 2021, in Pennsylvania. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.
Willie Mae attended Peterson School in Red Springs, North Carolina until she moved to New York at the age of 17 where she continued her education.
She worked as a CNA at Wedgewood Nursing Home for many years until her retirement and later moved to Tannerssville, PA. where she departed this earthly life for a life of eternal peace on Monday, August 16, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.
Willie Mae was known to many by " Mae or Noot" was united in Holy Matrimony to K.C.King Sr.
She leaves to cherish her fond memories, her husband K.C. King Sr. of the home, two daughters; Carolyn McCallum of Red Springs, North Carolina and Diane McLean of Atlanta Ga, two sons; Danny McLean and K.C. King Jr both of New York, fourteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, four sisters: Annie McNeil and Brenda McLean (Ronald) of Red Springs, NC, Eva Mitchell (Samuel) of Maxton, North Carolina; Catherine Bell (Daryl) of Fayetteville, North Carolina; one sister-in-law Louise McLean of Bayside, New York; a very special and dear friend Barbara of Great Neck, NY. and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
