Miss Wendy Lynn Jones age 20 of Maxton, North Carolina was born on December 23, 2001, to James Albert Jones and Linda Gail Jones in Scotland County. She departed this life into eternity on August 24, 2022, in Robeson County. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Lee Alford Locklear, paternal grandparents, Neal Jones and Modies Jones, paternal grandfather, Albert (Buddy) Locklear.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one son, Tobias Jones, daughter, Ava Lynn Jones of the home, her father, James Albert Jones, mother Linda Gail Locklear Jones of Maxton, North Carolina; three brothers, James Lee Jones, Harley Lee Jones, and Dusty Ray Jones all of Maxton, North Carolina; three sisters, Shyenne Lynn Jones, Scarlett Lynn Jones and Gail Bella Jones all of Maxton, North Carolina; maternal grandmother, Regina Locklear, uncles: Fuller Locklear (Robin) and Lee McGarrett Colson (Tara), godfather, Scott Locklear, two step-uncles, Ryan Colson, Adam Colson, A host of other relatives and friends.
