In Loving Memory of Vivian Carol Hunt

January 11, 1974 – June 25, 2026

Vivian Carol Hunt, 52, of Dunn, North Carolina, went home to be with the Lord on June 25, 2026.

Carol’s greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud Nannie. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her world, and she treasured every moment with them. If you knew Carol, you knew she never met anything yellow she didn’t love.

Carol loved the Lord and her church family. She lived her faith through kindness, compassion, and the love she shared with everyone she met.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Strickland; her children, Kendra Hunt, Ashley Pruitt (Justin), Sam Hunt (Katie West), and Bradley Hunt; her eight beloved grandchildren; her mother, Windy Hunt and husband, Gerald Hunt; her father, Larry Hunt and wife, Sarah Hunt; her siblings, Dilly Hunt (Shelia), Rodney Hunt (Windy), Cherie Locklear (Dakota), and Dana Scott (Anthony); along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends, and all whose lives she touched.

Carol was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Natalie Paige Hunt.

Though she will be deeply missed, her love, faith, and the memories she gave her family will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
