Mr. Timmie Jones, age 63 of Maxton, North Carolina, was born on March 18, 1963, to Percell Jones and Nancy Locklear Jones in Scotland County, North Carolina. He departed this life into eternity on May 15, 2026, at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister: Reba Jones, and two brothers: Gary Jones and Sanford Jones.

Timmie was a man whose life was rooted in love, kindness, and the simple joys of caring for others. He loved his wife, known as "Sweetie," to him. Their bond was one so deep that he could not sleep in the bed without her.

Timmie was known throughout the community as community plumber and would always lend a helping hand. The smallest acts of kindness, simply as giving the pastor a bottle of water on Sunday, brought him joy. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and loved his family. He shared a special bond with his sister, Katrina, who he called "Little Perina."

Mr. Timmie leaves to cherish his memories; his wife: Sherrie Lucas of the home, one son: Jason Brooks (Amber) of Red Springs, NC, four brothers: Percell Jones, Jr. of Lumberton, NC, Don Scott and Michael Jones, both of Maxton, NC, and Christopher Lee Jones and fiancé, Lesie Bullard, eight sisters:  Corena Scott, Lorrine Scott (Truman), Katrina Jones, and Jessica Shantie (Shawn) all of Maxton, NC, Aretha Patterson Brooks of Laurel Hill, NC, Senna D. Brayboy (Johnny) of Red Springs, NC, Carol J. Dial (Kenneth) of Pembroke, NC, and Deborah Polston of Wagram, NC, three grandchildren: Katelyn, Skylar, and Ayla Brooks, a special friend: Renee Jones and a host of other relatives and friends.
