Our Beloved Father, Thomas Freeman Hyatt, 80 of Red Springs passed away on June 27, 2026, at Scotland Memorial Hospital. He was born on June 18, 1946, in Scotland County to the late Johnny and Ruby Hyatt. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a son baby boy Hyatt, three sisters and one grandchild.

Thomas spent his career working as a master carpenter.

He is survived by his four daughters: Pamela Locklear, who was also his caretaker, (Curley) of Red Springs, Linda Gayle Locklear (Ronnie) of Rowland, Tommie McMillian (Jimmy), of Rennert, Christina Bryant (Jerry) of Rowland, eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, his fur baby: Boo Boo, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
