Mr. Thermon Barton age 81 of Maxton, North Carolina was born on November 10, 1941, to the late Mack Barton and the late Magdalean Locklear Barton in Robeson County, North Carolina. He departed this life to his eternal home at his residence. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Clilton Barton and Billy Barton, a granddaughter Jessica Barton, a grandson Thermon Patrick Scott.

Mr. Thermon leaves to cherish his memories three sons: Davis Barton, Heath Brewer, Christopher Maynor (Rita King), six daughters: Annette Dial (John), Angeline Scott (Allen), Wanda Locklear (Matthew), Penny Hammonds, Christy Barton, Jessica Barton, two brothers: Raymond Barton and Mack Barton Jr., seven sisters: Georgeann Barnes, Erma Lee Bullard, Goldie Berry, Jan Barton, Mary Lee Bullard, Lottie Pearl Bullard and Jackie Dunn, twenty eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, special friends, Dorothy Locklear, Albert Lewis, Delton Locklear, Johnny Jones, Jessica Roberts and a host of nieces, nephews of and other family and friends.
