Mrs. Sylvia Barfield age 57 of Laurinburg, North Carolina was born on December 15, 1964, in Scotland County, North Carolina. She departed this life into eternity on Monday, May 02, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Margie McPherson. stepfather, Vance McPherson.

Sylvia leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Michael Barfield of the home, one daughter, Stephanie Barfield of the home; one brother, Robert Grant of Laurel Hill, North Carolina; brother-in-law: Phillip Barfield of Wilmington, North Carolina; one uncle, Ricky Strickland of Laurinburg, North Carolina; one sister-in-law: Rhonda Barfield of Shannon, North Carolina; niece, Holly Locklear of Shannon, North Carolina; nephew, Gabriel Barfield; two grandchildren: James Brown and Kaydon McNair; and, a host of other relatives and friends.
