Mr. Stepher Chance age 77 of 1332 Wire Road, Bunnlevel, North Carolina was born on March 26, 1948, to the late James H. Chance and Mattie Seaberry Chance. He entered into eternal rest on Wednesday July 8, 2026, at Duke Hospital in Durham, North Carolina. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Etula Jacobs Chance and six siblings, Henry, Roy, Linda, Johnny, Jerry, and Jennie. 

Stephen leaves to cherish his memory, two daughters: Lisa Chance Bundy (Jeff) of New Bern, North Carolina, and Shahara Chance (Tate) of Raeford, North Carolina, and two sons: Stevie Chance (Eleanor) of Fayetteville, North Carolina and Nucona Stephen Chance (Veronica) of the home, nine grandchildren: Tony, Dylon, Angel, Shyaira, Amaurie, Jak'hari, Zaire, De'sany, and Jaliyah, one sister: Betty Ruth Walker of Erwin, North Carolina, and one aunt: Helen Hicks of Linden, North Carolina, three special sisters-in-law: Chasity, Nancy and Nobalene, one special friend: Keith Dorman, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
