Mr. Stanley Holmes Davis age 68 of Red Springs, North Carolina was born on October 06, 1955, to the late Mr. Alton Holmes Davis and late Mrs. Sarah Catherine Humphrey Davis in Robeson County. He departed this life on October 22, 2023, at Duke Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina.

Stanley will always be remembered for his infectious smile, his quick wit and his ability to tell a great joke.  He never knew a stranger and his happy disposition could always bring a smile to anyone's face, no matter how bad a day they were having.  When he wasn't working hard at his job, he loved playing card games, drinking his mountain dew, buying scratch-off tickets, and rooting for his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers. But nothing could surpass his love for his family; for his loving wife of 46 years Jo Lynn Davis, his son, Chris and especially for his three grandchildren, Jakob, Hailey, and Mason with whom he had a special bond and who made him the proudest. He was loved and will be missed by many.
