Mrs. Shelby Bryant age 66 of Red Springs, North Carolina was born on July 21, 1955, to the late Troy Braxton Chavis and Minnie Hunt in Robeson County, North Carolina. She departed this life into eternity on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at her home surrounding by her loving family. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by one grandson, Timothy Olin Oxendine.

Mrs. Shelby was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and a friend to all that knew her. She was a dedicated member to her church, United Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed cooking and feeding her friends and others. She was owner of Roger's Tree Company for years. Her smile that would brighten any room will be missed by all.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of twenty-four year, Harvey Bryant of the home; three sons, Timothy Chavis, Joshua Bryant and Terry Morgan (Stephanie) all of Red Springs, North Carolina; five daughters, Sarah Bryant and Shanna Oxendine both of Lumberton, North Carolina; Mandy Revels, Felicia Rogers, and Suzanna Rogers. one sister, Janice Hunt of Rowland, North Carolina; three special nieces, Nicole Renee Hunt, Jennifer Paul, and Chelsey Hunt. two special nephews, Troy Hunt and Timmy Hunt. thirteen grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
