Ms. Sara Louise Gibson-Williams, age 81 of Pembroke, NC, formerly of Red Springs, NC  was born to the late Mr.  Henry Gibson, Sr., and the late Mrs.  Bertha L. Patterson Gibson on July 12, 1940, in Robeson County, North Carolina. Sara was called to glory on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at Genesis Healthcare, in Pembroke, NC. Sara was preceded in death by her parents, Bertha and Henry Gibson, one son, Kenneth Williams; one grandson, Gary   Gibson, Jr., and one brother, Robert C. Gibson.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one son, Mr. Gary Otto Gibson of Richmond, VA, three brothers, Mr. Henry Gibson, Jr. Of Red Springs, NC; Mr. James Thomas Gibson of New York City; Mr. Christopher Gibson (Twana) of Raleigh, NC; five sisters, Rev. Betty J. Holley of Staten Island, NY; Mrs. Mary Helen Pittman (Emanuel) of Red Springs, NC; Ms. Lee G. Gibson-Farrow of Brooklyn, NY; Mrs. Francine McLean (Jimmy) of Richmond, VA; Ms. Barbara Ann McLean of Lumberton, NC; two grandchildren, Kendrick Gibson, Lakenya Williams; and four great grandchildren: Nykira Gibson, Ja'Niyah Terry, Trajan Vail, and Kynnedy Williams.  Sara also had a host of nieces and nephews who remained faithful to her until the end, and who loved her dearly, she loved them as well.
