Sandra Hunt Locklear Chavis age 57 of Pembroke, North Carolina was born on November 29, 1965, to the late Barbara Ann Hunt and Mr. Wilton Hunt Jr. in Robeson County, North Carolina. She departed this life on Tuesday February 28, 2023, at Southeastern Hospice House, Lumberton, North Carolina. Along with her mother she was preceded in death by two daughters: Victoria Locklear and Candace Locklear, a brother: Bryan "Chuck" Norris, and a grandchild: Raylen Sanderson.

Sandra leaves to cherish her memories, one son: Scottie Locklear (Stephanie) of Red Springs, North Carolina, two daughters: Christina Locklear Brewer of Rowland, North Carolina, Nikki Locklear of the home, her father: Wilton Hunt Jr. of Clinton, North Carolina, two brothers: Billy Mitchell Norris of Columbus, Ohio, and  Wilton Hunt III of Morrisville, North Carolina, six sisters: Debbie Hunt of Rowland, North Carolina, Patsy Hunt of Raymondville, Texas, Bobbie Jean Adams of Houston, Texas, Heather Davis of Wilmington, North Carolina, and Christy Thompson of Rowland, North Carolina, a special friend, Samuel Gracia,  sixteen grandchildren, Joshua, McKenzie, Sage, Breanna,  Derie,  Naveah, Carlton Jr., Raylen, Scottie Jr., Malachi,  Lessiah, Keyana, Dakota, Aleigha, Sequoia, and Sakyia, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
