Mrs. Sallie Locklear Cummings age 83 was born on January 28, 1938, to the late McKinley Locklear and the late Sally Hall Locklear in Robeson County, North Carolina. She departed this life on October 21, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Cummings.

Sis Sallie was one of the founding members of Welcome Holiness Church where she remained a faithful member until her sickness and death.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one son, Daniel Cummings Jr. grandchildren: Daniel Allen Jones (Christine), Daniel Wells Cummings, Daniel Richard Cummings and Tasha Lowery. eleven great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. A host of other relatives and friends. Special Thanks to HealthKeepers Hospice and Dr. Markus Lowery at Hoke First Health for their acts of kindness and care during the extended illness of Sis Sallie.
