Mr. Roosevelt Sinclair was born on February 05, 1956, in Hoke County, North Carolina to the late Mrs. Lucille Sinclair and James Willie Sinclair. Then as a young child at the three years old. Mrs. Mamie Lois Rogers (McNeill) and Mr. Carletha Rogers took Roosevelt in and raised him. He is preceded in death by Mrs. Mamie Lois Rogers McNeill and Mr. Carletha Rogers.

On Monday,June 13, 2022, his angel came and took him to his heavenly home. Roosevelt was well known in Red Springs as the "Welding Man" He did various welding jobs for a lot of people in the community and different areas. He also did welding jobs for Mr. Bill Hardin. Roosevelt was known and liked by many people. He played basketball for many years and was given the nickname 6'8.

He leaves to cherish his memories a loving sister, Sarah Stocks (Jackie), two nieces, Jacqueline Townsend and Melanie Stocks of Red Springs, North Carolina; two nephews, Bennie Henderson and Patrick Stocks (Shenelle) of Maxton, North Carolina; one brother, Kenny Sinclair of Laurinburg, North Carolina; three great nieces My'Asia Caple, Symaria Stocks, and Nevaeh Hopple of Red Springs, North Carolina; great nephews, Quentin Townsend (Amanda), Brandon Townsend, Ramarious Capel of Red Springs, North Carolina; Jaxon Stocks of Maxton, North Carolina; Bernette Smith and Laura Davis, of Raeford, North Carolina; very special cousins, Mrs. Doreatha Terry, Johnnie, Betty Terry, and James Terry (Knott). One aunt Mrs. Nellie Smith, one uncle, William Roscoe Sinclair. Avery special " Brother of Love" Mr. Pete Murray. A close friend for years Sheila McNeill, and a host of other relatives and friends.
