Mr. Roosevelt Locklear age 88 of Red Springs, North Carolina was born on April 16, 1933, to the late Can Locklear and the late Sally Locklear in Robeson County, North Carolina. He departed this life on October 2, 2021, at Morrison Manor, Laurinburg, North Carolina. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Louise Brooks Locklear.

Mr. Roosevelt leaves to cherish his memories two sons: Ricky Brooks of Greensboro, North Carolina, Scotty Brooks ( Sue Ann) of Red Springs, North Carolina, three daughters: Lilly Ann Locklear of Pennsylvania, Brenda Locklear, and Connie Locklear both of Charlotte, North Carolina, one stepdaughter: Patsy Fowler of Shannon, North Carolina, one sister: Gladys Locklear of Maxton, North Carolina, eleven grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, three step-granddaughters, a special friend of the family Victoria Locklear along with a host of other relatives and friends.
