Mr. Robert Rowdy Womack age 62 of Shannon, North Carolina was born on July 3, 1959, to the late James Shelton Womack and the late Ina Mae Gilchrist Womack in Hoke County, North Carolina. He departed this life on January 3, 2022. In addition to his parents he was preceded by a brother-in law Woodrow Beard " Woody"

Mr. Womack was loved by his family and many friends. He was a man of many talents. He was a beloved husband, father, and papa.

Robert is survived by his loving wife: Amelia Womack of the home, two daughters: Lucana Godfrey and husband Jeff, Jessica Locklear and husband Dewayne all of Shannon, North Carolina, six grandchildren: Dea'vion Godfrey, Jaliyah Godfrey, Imari Godfrey, Savannah Locklear, Jasmine Locklear, Dewayne  Locklear Jr. all of Shannon, North Carolina, four brothers: James R. Womack (OJ) and wife Oralia of Texas, Jody Mike Womack, Ronald Womack, Donald Womack and wife Joan all of Red Springs, North Carolina, five sisters: Joyce Beard, Debbie Womack, Delores Jones and husband Bryon, Patricia Hendrix and husband Daniel, all of Red Springs, North Carolina, Janice Locklear " Teeny" and husband Alex of Pembroke, North Carolina along with a host of other relatives and friends.
