Mrs. Rena T. Lewis age 73 of Shannon, North Carolina was born on June 5, 1949, to the late Ray Thompson and the late Magalene Grooms in Scotland County, North Carolina and departed this life on January 22, 2023 at her residence. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her grandson Phillip O'Bryan Lewis.

Mrs. Rena leaves to cherish her memories her husband Kenneth Lewis of the home, one son: Phillip Lewis of Rennert, North Carolina, one daughter: Renett Locklear of Shannon, North Carolina, two brothers: Jimmy Thompson and Stevie Thompson, two sisters: Darlene LeMaster, Yvonne Chappen, three grandchildren: Christopher Michael Locklear, James Gabriel Bullard and Josiah Clark, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
