Rev. Randy Revels age 62 of Lumberton, North Carolina was born on July 16, 1959, to Augusta Revels and Frances Lowery Revels. Rev. Randy departed this life on August 25, 2021, at Scotland Memorial Hospital, Laurinburg, North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his brother Bobby Revels, sisters: Betty Pearl Collins, Florence Locklear, Patricia "Pee Wee" Revels.

Rev. Randy was Pastor of Potter's House Assembly of God. He was saved and called into the ministry under the pastoral leadership of Rev. Montana Locklear at Freedom Assembly of God. Rev. Randy was a faithful servant to God, his family and his community. He enjoyed sharing his testimony, giving hugs, and fellowshiping. He allowed the Lord to use him and minister into the lives of many, especially the broken hearted, the weak in spirit and the down trodden. He loved his family and making memories with them especially on vacation.

Rev. Randy loved children and was a father figure and mentor to so many. He would brighten any child's day with his with smile and unique sound of a duck that will always be remembered.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 46 years Ilene Revels of the home, three sons, Daniel Ralph Revels (Melinda) of Lumberton, North Carolina;  Ronnie Dale Revels (Letitia) of Pembroke, North Carolina and Kelton Revels of the home. one daughter, Courtney Scott of Orrum, North Carolina; four brothers, Rudolph Revels, R.D. Revels, Grover Revels, and Charles Wayne Revels. seven sisters, Ellen Bullard, Betty R. Jacobs, Susan Chavis, Betty Bell, Jane Chavis, Lenora Demery, Shelby Huggins. eight grandchildren: Ronnie Dale Revels, Triston Scott, Ericka Revels, Danielle Hunt, Kelton Scott, Makayla Revels, Rihanna Jones and Jeremiah Jones. two great-grandchildren, Rilee Revels, Kase Strickland. A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
