Mrs. Polly Lou Lowery, 70, of 1756 Balfour Road, Red Springs, was born December 2, 1950 to the late Alva Sr., and Fannie Oxendine. Her appointed time came and she completed her journey on October 22, 2021.  She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Alva Oxendine, Jr., William Oxendine, and Franklin Oxendine; one sister, Viler Jane Oxendine; and a special niece, Sheila Oxendine.

She was a wife, mother, sister, and aunt and she leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, William Lowery, Jr., and three sons, Marshall Lynn Lowery and Jeffery Lowery of the home and Joshua Lowery (Amy Maynor) of Rennert, NC; five grandchildren, Aydon, Alyssa, Gabriel, Samuel, and Joselyn Lowery; two brothers, Robert "Doc" Oxendine of Dundalk, MD; and Wheeler (Ann) Oxendine of Red Springs, NC; and a sister-in-law, Sylvia Oxendine of Red Springs, NC; and a host of relatives and friends.
