Mr. Paul Chavis age 56 of Maxton, North Carolina was born on December 02, 1965, to the late Mr. Lacy Levernon Chavis and Mrs.Lucy Jane Locklear Chavis in Robeson County. He departed this life into eternity on Tuesday, September 06, 2022.  He is preceded in death by his wife Liza Jacobs Chavis, father, Lacy Levernon Chavis, and one brother, Mickey Chavis.

He leaves to cherish his memories, two sons, Paul Andrew Chavis of Maxton, North Carolina; Howard Lorenzo Porter of St. Pauls, North Carolina; three daughters, Elaney Lacole Jones of Maxton, North Carolina; Tiffany Leigh Chavis of Maxton, North Carolina; Brandy Lynn Jacobs of Fuquay Varina; his mother, Mrs. Lucy Jane Locklear Chavis of Shannon, North Carolina; two brothers, Levern Chavis and Timmy Chavis both of Shannon, North Carolina; one sister, Donna Revels of Shannon, North Carolina; sixteen grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
