Mr. Paul Brayboy Chavis age 73 of Fayetteville, North Carolina was born on February 03, 1950 to the late Mr. Joseph Chavis and the late Mrs. Mrytle Brayboy Thompson in Robeson County. He departed this life into eternity on May 03, 2023 at Woodlands Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by one son, Paul Chavis Jr. (Googie), one brother, Joseph (Shot) Chavis Jr, sisters, Sandra Kay Chavis and Aileen Locklear.

Mr. Chavis leaves to cherish his memories, three daughters, Mrytle "Boobie" Chavis, Bridget Nicole Chavis, Ariyanna Nicole Chavis, four sons, Bascom Brayboy Chavis, Brandon Michael Chavis, Braxton Brayboy Chavis, Noah Dean Chavis, seven sisters, Linda Scott (James), Janie Mae Locklear, Frances Dial (Anthony), Cora Faye Hammonds (Mitchell), Moneas Chavis (Tim), Rita Faye Chavis, Judy Hardin (Jimmy), three brothers, Randolph McMillian (Glenda), Wayne Chavis (Mag), Chris Hardin (Lynn), twelve grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
