Mr. Nolan "Sam" Jones age 72 of Red Springs, North Carolina was born on February 5, 1949  to the late Mr. Reuben Jacobs and the late Mrs. Aletha Jones Jacobs in Robeson County. He departed this life into eternity on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at UNC Health Southeastern. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers, Ronnie Jacobs and James Carlton Jacobs, a grandson, Shawn Jackson.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 51 years Virginia Jackson of the home; two daughters Renee Jackson and Beverly Prather both of Red Springs, North Carolina; one brother, Terry (Catfish) Jacobs of Red Springs, North Carolina; two sisters, Doris Jacobs and Della Lambert both of Red Springs, North Carolina; three grandchildren, Sanchez Jacobs, Brandon Jackson, Shane Prather, one great-grandchild, Kylgha Jackson. special cousins, Michelle Pevia and Harley Chavis, special nephews, Terry Lee Jones and Shane Landon Chavis (Chucky). A host of other relatives and friends.
