She departed this life on September 10, 2023, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, Fayetteville, North Carolina. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Linwood McRae, a daughter Michelle McMillan, four brother Wayne McMillan, Kermit McMillan, John Jr. McMillan, Jimmy McMillan, three sisters Myrtle Lowery, Margaret Woods, Susie McMillan and a extended family members, Janet P.
