Michael Lee Burney age 37 of Lumberton, North Carolina was born on December 26, 1984, in Gary, Indiana to Sandra Lynn Burney. He departed this life on January 21, 2022, at UNC Health Southeastern, Lumberton, North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his grandparents David Earl Burney and Stella Mae Burney.

Michael loved being outdoors, fishing by the pond. He also loved football and the 49ers was his team.
