Mr. McKinnon Jr. Locklear age 71 of Shannon, North Carolina was born on May 29, 1951, to the late McKinnon Locklear and the late Delphia Pevia Locklear in Robeson County, North Carolina. He departed this into eternity on November 20, 2022, at his home. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Kenetta Locklear, two brothers Ronald Lee Locklear and William Locklear, one sister Katherine Betty Locklear.

He leaves to cherish his memories his former wife: Vanessa Locklear of Shannon, North Carolina, two sons: Edward Locklear and Victoria, Cruz Locklear and Morgan, six daughters: Brenda Jones and Mark, Rebekah Locklear-Hall and Michael, Kimberly Jones and Michael all of Shannon, North Carolina, Fallon Locklear and Harley of Lumberton, North Carolina, Katherine Locklear and Juan, Megan Locklear and George, three brothers: Terry Locklear of Lumberton, North Carolina, Curtis Locklear and Faye of Pembroke, North Carolina, Delton Locklear, two sisters: Bonnie Locklear and Zetto of Pembroke, North Carolina, Bertha Morgan and James of Red Springs, North Carolina, twenty one grandchildren, a sister-in-law: Helen Locklear of Pembroke, North Carolina, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
