Mr. Matt Anderson McKoy, age 49 was born on October 5, 1971 in New York to Mr. Matthew McKoy and Ms. Deloise Norris McKoy. Matt transitioned from this earthly life to eternal rest on Sunday, June 6, 2021 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital, Southern Pines, North Carolina.

He is survived by his wife, Janeiccia Brown McKoy, of the home, two children, Jacquassia Brown and Jamont Lester, of the home; his father, Matthew McKoy, of Henderson, North Carolina; his mother, Deloise Norris McKoy, of Red Springs, North Carolina; one sister, April McKoy, of Red Springs, North Carolina; one granddaughter, Mila Wright, of the home; special aunts & uncles, Lena & Charlie Ijames, of Red Springs, North Carolina; Robert Brown and Edna of Connersville, Pennsylvania; and Jimmy and Glenda Norris, of Lumberton, North Carolina;  special cousins, Leslie McLaughlin, Sandra McLean, Tereda Yates (Aarin), Vanessa Moore, William McLaughlin and Michael Norris and a host of other relatives and friends.
